Summer Party of IEF and Physics

Hey folks,

almost there it is.
On July 6th the summer party of the student councils of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Physics will take place. The party will take place on the green areas of Albert-Einstein-Straße 22 (near Konrad-Zuse-Haus) – starting at 4 pm!

You can expect sports games like volleyball, spikeball or kubb. Our highlight for you: Bubble Soccer¹. You have to register via the following form:
Our summer party will be musically accompanied by DJ Carsten Opitz. In the evening you can look forward to the Rostock indie band ANIMALS SECRET.
Furthermore there will be fun activities like beer pong, a small lottery or the traditional tug of war between the Computer Science and EE faculty.
Of course, there will also be a wide range of food and drinks available.
Our recommendation for you: delicious, cool slushies!
We are looking forward to spending a nice evening and a joyful summer party with you.

¹Bubble Soccer = you are stuck with your body in an inflated ball and only your legs stick out. The more mass, the bigger the trajectory of the opponents!

New Year’s barbecue

The New Year’s barbecue of the electrical engineering, computer science and physics departments will take place on 06.01.2023. From 3 pm, there will be a vegan, vegetarian and omnivorous barbecue between the buildings.
To keep everyone warm, we will also be offering mulled wine and children’s punch.
Feel free to come by so we can welcome the new year together!

IEF Christmas Party (postponed)

On December 8, 2022 starting at 4pm Friday, December 16, 2022 starting at 1 pm, our IEF Christmas Party will be taking place in the atrium of the Konrad Zuse House.

You are warmly invited to cake, waffles and hot dogs. As you would expect from a proper Christmas party, there will of course also be mulled wine, Feuerzangenbowle (a warm red wine, orange juice and rum mix) and children’s punch.

Feel free to bring your loved ones so we can all enjoy a cozy evening with Christmas music.

Many greetings
Your student council of computer science and electrical engineering
